Maskarade
Clarinet Quartet
Based Derby/Midlands we will work in any County.

The line-up is usually 3 B flat clarinets and bass clarinet although we sometimes use other members of the clarinet family.
We also function as a saxophone quartet if requested.

If you are in search of a dynamic and versatile ensemble of young professionals,
then choose Maskarade, the leading clarinet quartet from the Midlands. 

Maskarade have given recitals up and down the country, from the International Convention Centre to Japenese Water Gardens and from live BBC broadcasts to a guest audience for Sir Siman Rattle.  Indvidually, the members regularay freelance with the City of Birminghm Symphony Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Shakespeare Company and Welsh National Opera.

Whilst Sir Yehudi Menuhin's 'Live Music Now!' scheme has enabled the group to get involved with educational and community projects they still find time to perform a diverse repertoire of classical music, popular jazz and light arrangements at weddings, dinners and corporate events. The dynamic flexibility of thr clarinet enables the quartet to tailor the volume to suit the requirements of individual venues.   Rob Shaw
