Valley Young Musicians' Platform, and was selected for
further promotion by the judges. Helen offers both
classical and lighter music such as Broadway favourites
and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Helen charges

began playing the
harp when she was nine years old and gave her first
concert whilst living in the Sultanate of Oman for the
charity Race Aid.
In addition to playing the harp, she is a keen pianist,
singer and composer. One of her compositions "Wind
and Rain" won her seventh place in the 1995 Young
Composer of the Year Competition. In 1996 she gave the
opening recital at the Minehead and Exmoor Festival and
was also accepted at the Royal College of Music as a
Junior Exhibitioner to study harp with Daphne Boden. The
music I play for weddings is very varied ranging from
Gershwin to Bach to the theme from Titanic.

invited to play the harp for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in
Edinburgh, hosted by Tony Blair, and in the presence of the Prime Ministers
and Presidents of all the Commonwealth countries. She has played at several
receptions hosted by HRH the Prince of Wales, at Buckingham Palace,
Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle. Also, she
performed harp and flute duets for HRH Prince Edward in Tokyo.

born in Bristol and educated at Bristol Cathedral School where he was a
music scholar. At the age of fifteen Ian successfully auditioned for the
National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain where he held the position of
principal piccolo for two seasons. This was followed by two years with the
prestigious National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain which included
performing in the promenade concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, London. He
was principal flute in its associated Chamber Orchestra (1995-1996).
In 1996 he was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music to study
a Bachelor of Music (Performance) Degree under the tutelage of Sebastian
Bell and Jaime Martin for Flute. In 1998 Ian was the youngest member of the
Royal Academy Sinfonia for their tour of China and Japan. In 1999 Ian was
selected as a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra enabling him to
tour Europe and play at such venues as the Concertgebouw ( Amsterdam) , Cite
de la Musique ( Paris), Royal Albert Hall ( London) under the baton of
Bernard Haitink and Sir Colin Davis. The orchestra was even fortunate enough
to play at the Vatican in Rome on Christmas day

includes Irish music, popular, classical, etc. Rebecca incorporates strong
rhythmic patterns in her music and improvises freely with melody and tempo.

studied music at the Purcell School, and furthered my music
training at the Royal College of Music. I am a
Flautist who studied under John Francis, who taught many
successful flautists including James Galway. I have
recently become a professional Opera singer, studying with the
famous Opera singer Rosalind Plowright, and have much experience
singing at weddings and other professional venues, as in Open Air
concerts, and last night of the proms.
I can also supply a Harpist to accompany me,
either on Flute or voice, or both if you wish,
or if you require Marigold to play solo. This is a very
popular combination for Civil Ceremonies, as no religious music
is allowed. This will add a certain opulence to any wedding.
Marigold Verity is a world known harpist, having played all over
Europe and including such places as Tibet, and Mongolia where she
has done extensive
