Lomond String Quartet

The Lomond String Quartet is made up of graduates from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, who are all pursuing freelance performing/teaching careers in Glasgow, Scotland.

Myself and one other member of the quartet are former members of the Torridon Quartet which among other achievements has won the Gerrard Heller String Quartet Competition in London and was chosen to play for the Heads of States dinner hosted by the Queen at the Commonwealth Convention in 1997.

Based in Glasgow so we would hope to mainly get bookings in the Glasgow area although we would consider the central belt generally providing our fee would cover the excess travel costs.

Our rates are as follows :

Wedding service only or 1 hour reception - £ 200 total
Wedding service plus 1 hour reception or 2 hour reception - £ 270 total
Wedding service plus 2 hour reception or 3 hour reception - £ 320 total
Plus travel outwith Greater Glasgow.
